Alan is an experienced and trusted advisor with 15 years’ experience providing financial, commercial and procurement advice to clients as well as delivering projects throughout various stages of the infrastructure lifecycle. Alan provides advice to clients in the transport, infrastructure and government sector with a focus on achieving the best value for money and budget certainty for clients.

Alan’s experience covers the provision of transport and infrastructure advisory services to assist his clients through complex service procurements with the development of commercial contractual terms and tender documentation, the evaluation, benchmarking and negotiation of offers and support through to contract finalisation and beyond in order to enhance service, performance and delivery outcomes.

Alan is also experienced in providing strategic and commercial advice on transport and infrastructure projects through the development of business cases, and strategic reviews, including options analysis for both defining the service need and the delivery and pricing models best suited to meeting the infrastructure funding and operating requirements.

Alana is an experienced strategic advisor of over 10 years having worked on a range of complex infrastructure projects and asset transactions. Her breadth of expertise spans the public and private sectors in the fields of strategy, project development, procurement and transaction management, financial advisory and governance. As a qualified Chartered Accountant supported by a background in law and business, Alana brings a strong commercial acumen and an analytical approach to problem solving.

Alana has held integral roles in the front-end phases of the project lifecycle and has worked with organisations including Transport for NSW, Energy Corporation of NSW, Sydney Metro, Infrastructure NSW, Port Authority of NSW and NSW Treasury. In recent roles, she has provided commercial leadership during development, procurement and delivery of multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects.

She is a driven and collaborative professional, known for her ability to think laterally and articulate complex matters simply and succinctly across to diverse audiences whilst managing a wide range of competing interests. She is adept at managing cross-functional teams and leading consultation, negotiation and issue resolution in a manner that achieves best-for-project outcomes. Alana brings a multidisciplinary skill set and prides herself on being adaptable and responsive to clients’ needs.

Alex has a strong and comprehensive civil engineering background which has expanded her offering to both technical and commercial advisory capabilities. Alex graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) with Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance). She offers robust communication and adaption skills, which have been crucial in managing stakeholders and have led to a demonstrated record of success in transport infrastructure projects.

Alex’s experience in design and construction has allowed her to understand and appreciate the entire lifecycle of a project. She is passionate about major projects that improve the livability of Sydney and enjoys working collaboratively with clients to give them the best outcomes. Optimistic and inclusive, Alex enhances projects by bringing people together, as well as consistently holding safety, quality, and the environment at the forefront.

Alison Goddard is an accomplished infrastructure advisor, project manager and design manager with experience across the project lifecycle in Australia and internationally. She has extensive experience in the planning and delivery of complex linear infrastructure projects within the road, rail and maritime sectors and has a track record of supporting clients through project and program development, procurement, design, delivery, and asset management phases. Alison is a Chartered Civil Engineer and draws on her breadth of experience across consulting, design and construction, to bring a holistic perspective to strategy, problem solving and project leadership.

Alison’s key strengths are her ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, integrate across disciplines and manage teams and programs to deliver on strategic objectives. She can communicate complex information clearly and adapt her communication style for effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as executive audiences. Alison is a dedicated and collaborative leader who has the ability to navigate complex project environments and deliver successful outcomes for her clients.

Amanda is an effective and strategic leader with expertise in the development and delivery of complex, high-risk projects in the built environment. She is a strong and competent transaction manager, project manager and commercial advisor with a procurement and contract delivery focus. She is highly experienced in supporting the commercial and delivery readiness aspects of major built environment and transport infrastructure projects for government clients. She is a creative and strategic thinker and has been a key driver in project development strategy. She is experienced in navigating the machinery of government, performing in reporting, governance and approvals with senior-level internal and external project stakeholders, including up to the Secretary and Minister. Amanda has been involved in various mega projects with innovative commercial risk sharing mechanisms that have set precedents for the projects and infrastructure sector at large.

Andrew is a leader and highly versatile advisor with 16 years’ experience planning and delivering major transport and infrastructure projects. He has extensive experience in all phases of the project lifestyle from inception to development and delivery.

Andrew has been at the forefront of projects that shaped the future of major transport networks and provided city changing infrastructure. His planning and delivery expertise is balanced with an engineering background and diverse technical knowledge. Andrew provides effective leadership to project teams, bringing people together with a clear vision and empowering style of management.

Andrew is adept at working with stakeholders at all levels from elected representatives to executive managers and technical experts. Through detailed planning and adaptable engagement techniques he navigates complex stakeholder, governance and technical environments to deliver outstanding results for his clients.

Andrew is a Civil Engineer with 10+ years’ experience in project development and delivery of complex infrastructure projects and programs.

Andrew has recent experience in infrastructure strategy, procurement and commercial advisory on major projects and programs of work across the transport, energy, water and social infrastructure sectors. Andrew has further experience in portfolio management, capital investment planning and risk assurance where he has assisted clients providing independent assurance reviews, development of risk mitigation strategies and designing prioritisation and assurance frameworks.

Andrew brings a broad experience across project planning, design, procurement and delivery of infrastructure projects which allows him to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders to yield the best outcome for the client.

Andrew has qualifications in Civil Engineering and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance.

Andrew is a Commercial and Cost Advisory specialist with over 15 years’ experience in major building, infrastructure and utilities projects in both the UK and Australia. The diversity of Andrew’s experience and his ability to collaborate with key project stakeholders enable him to add value at all stages of the project life-cycle. Andrew is experienced in major infrastructure programme delivery, capital investment planning, and delivery assurance.

Andrew has led both commercial and delivery teams on a secondment basis. An effective communicator, he has the ability to integrate quickly and effectively in to established working teams; leverage existing available skills and knowledge; and seek opportunities to optimise commercial outcomes.

Andrew understands the importance of the commercial role supporting project delivery. He therefore fosters a collaborative working style and actively seeks engagement with project stakeholders in the interest of alignment amongst stakeholders, and sound commercial outcomes.

Andrew is a qualified Civil Engineer with over 8 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industries working on major infrastructure projects for both private and government clients. His main focus is on the provision of transaction and commercial advisory services as well as risk management, whole-of-life cost assessment, quantitative risk analysis and economic appraisals.

Most recently, Andrew was involved in the procurement and transaction management of major tunnel, motorway, tolling system, water and social infrastructure projects. His key responsibilities included developing procurement strategies, formulating technical and contractual documentation for tender, facilitating the tender and evaluation process and providing commercial advice during the final negotiation and contract award process.

Andrew’s double degree in Commerce and Civil Engineering (with first class honours) from the University of Sydney provides him with the ability to be both technically minded and financially astute.

Outside of work, Andrew is a keen (but not always triumphant) fisherman, and loves heading off on road trips to explore and fish in Australia’s many estuaries and waterways.

Andy is a Fellow of the RICS and is currently engaged by Sydney Water in Lead Commercial role for the North Region on their P4S contract. Previously he was with Sydney Metro for 4.5 years as the Associate Director Commercial on the Central Station project. He has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry both in the UK and Australia. He holds a MSc in Quantity Surveying and is completing his Master of Construction Law at the University of Melbourne. In the UK he worked at Transport for London for 7 years, operating as a Commercial Manager in the Major Projects Directorate, prior to that Andy spent 4 years with a Building Contractor.

Andy’s has gained extensive commercial experience, which has translated into an in-depth understanding of government policies and procedures. His experience includes leadership, dispute resolution, claims management and resolution, contract management, team management and project reporting. These skills are integral to his ability to deliver best for project outcomes on large, complex, multi-disciplined projects with various contractual arrangements during all stages of the project life cycle.

Andy has experience in rail, tunnelling, water, roads, bridges, schools and residential projects. During his time at Transport for London he commercially delivered various tunnels, structures and roads projects for the client. These included Silvertown Tunnel, Hogarth Flyover, Cycle Super-Highways, Brent Cross Regeneration, Hogarth Flyover, West Croydon Bus Station and Euston Circus.

In his spare time Andy enjoys travel with his family and watch cricket, rugby and moto gp.

Anna is an infrastructure professional with over 10 years’ experience working on large and complex projects across a range of industries including health, transport, education, defence and energy. In her client facing roles, Anna has managed programs throughout the project lifecycle, and has an intricate knowledge of planning and compliance, project governance, procurement and project delivery.

In recent years, Anna has had a social infrastructure focus where she worked on major hospital and health campus redevelopments at the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct, Westmead Hospital and Blacktown & Mt Druitt Hospitals.

Anna understands the need to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, particularly during cross-organisational initiatives that have strategic significance to multiple parties. Anna engages proactively with stakeholders to provide honest and transparent advice and achieve win-win outcomes.

Antony is a Civil Engineer specialising in project controls with a particular interest in project scheduling, data analysis and cost management. He has worked on infrastructure projects of national significance throughout the North Island of New Zealand and Australia.

Antony has worked independently on client engagements and been seconded as part of their integrated project teams. These engagements included aviation, maritime, roads, rail and social housing sectors for clients including TransGrid, Sydney Metro, Auckland Transport, Auckland International Airport, CentrePort Wellington, Housing New Zealand, Kiwirail, and the NZ Transport Agency.

Archit is a driven and motivated Advisor who is passionate about commercial management and project delivery. Archit graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) with Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance). Since joining ConnellGriffin, Archit has provided commercial management services in the procurement and delivery of a wide range of major infrastructure projects, including Sydney Metro City & Southwest, Coffs Harbour Bypass, Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport and WestConnex.

This has allowed him to gain experience across various stages of the project life cycle and develop his commercial acumen to complement his technical knowledge. His detail-oriented and collaborative approach allows him to foster strong positive relationships and drive successful project outcomes for his clients.

Outside of work, Archit enjoys travelling, visiting cafés and walking his dog. He also enjoys playing football and is an avid Chelsea supporter

Arden is an accomplished Project Manager with over 10 years of experience delivering infrastructure projects for Government and Private clients. Working across a wide range of roles within Government agencies, build side in construction and as an advisor on several projects across Australia, Arden has a demonstrated track record of getting complex projects delivered. Arden holds the Certified Practicing Senior Project Manager (CPPSPM) with the Australian Institute of Project Management and is also a member of Engineers Australia.

Aroon Cawthorne is an experienced Senior Consultant and qualified engineering professional with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Construction (Honours) with diverse project experience and project delivery expertise. With over 8 years experience in the Civil Engineering and construction industry predominantly with Tier 1 Contractors, Aroon has delivered major infrastructure projects across New South Wales and Queensland.

Over the course of his career Aroon has seamlessly transitioned between roles as a contractor and working on behalf of clients and has gained valuable experience across various fields. Prior to working at Connell Griffin Aroon brings a wealth of experience to his role, having worked on some of the largest infrastructure projects in Australia including WestConnex Stage 2 and WestConnex Stage 3A, Cross River Rail, Brisbane Metro and a Bruce Highway Upgrade project.

Aroon's career is distinguished by his strong leadership, building good relationships with stakeholders, integrity, expertise in project management and commitment to delivering complex infrastructure projects large and small. Aroon understands the fundamentals to successfully deliver projects for clients in a timely manner and to a high quality standard.

Ashleigh has over 4 years’ experience in the construction industry, providing market engagement, transaction management and commercial services to major public and private agencies, spanning transport, infrastructure and water sectors.

Ashleigh has consulted on large complex projects for various clients including Sydney Water, Department of Education, Port of Melbourne, Transport for NSW, Department of Planning, Industry and Environment and Sydney Metro. More recently, Ashleigh supported Sydney Water on the North West Treatment Hub Growth Program, from market engagement through to contract award.

Ashley is a project manager with over 12 years of experience in the construction industry. Ashley has worked as a project and design manager developing an extensive understanding of stakeholder engagement and consultation, contract administration, multi-disciplinary design management & coordination, risk and change management.

Ashley has worked on several infrastructure projects for various government organisations including School Infrastructure, Health Infrastructure and TfNSW. With these experiences Ashley has a strong understanding of the market drivers for development projects in the public social infrastructure space across Sydney and New South Wales. 

Ashley has developed excellent communication, problem solving, and technical skills which will assist any team throughout all project phases.

With a Master of Management and a Bachelor of Commerce, Asther brings a diverse skill set, from her experiences in Tax Accounting and International Management. Her background in strategic consulting projects has allowed her to work with start-ups and multinational companies across APAC and Europe. Paired with tech industry experience, Asther is eager to apply and develop her strategic thinking and problem-solving skills in practical commercial advisory at ConnellGriffin.

Augusto is a distinguished professional with a strong foundation in research and consulting. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Queensland University of Technology, where he was acknowledged for his academic excellence. Augusto has actively engaged in numerous international case competitions and research projects across Asia and Europe, consistently achieving top placements and enriching his expertise in global economic dynamics. His professional journey includes roles in consulting, where as part of a graduate cohort, he developed strategic models and conducted economic analysis. Augusto is well-equipped to provide strategic insights and recommendations. He is passionate about continuous learning, professional development, and contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Barbara is a skilled general counsel bringing 30 years of professional experience in the public and private sectors. She has provided legal advice, strategic thinking and support to company boards, senior executives, senior public officers and ministerial offices and has acted in the role of Chief Executive Officer as required.

She is proficient in a broad range of law including administrative, general commercial, construction, corporate, environmental, workplace health and safety, planning, pollution, property, statutory, transactional and workplace relations. 

In recent years, Barbara has provided the internal legal support for all aspects and stages of the delivery of heavy rail, light rail, fleet and station infrastructure projects to Transport for New South Wales. 

Barbara has extensive experience in major infrastructure and fleet procurement, contract negotiation and documentation (including interface arrangements) along with claims and dispute resolution.

Ben is an experienced project manager with expertise in social and economic impact, large scale program implementation and the energy transition. He holds a dual Bachelor’s in Economics and Commerce from the University of New South Wales and is pursuing a Master’s in Sustainability at the University of Sydney, focusing on the energy transition.

He has seven years’ experience working toward economic and social transformation in the energy, resources, and international development sectors. His experience spans collaborating with local and state governments on Renewable Energy Zone readiness, conducting socio-economic analyses and quantitative modelling for renewable energy feasibility license applications, and supporting industry decarbonisation efforts across Australia’s agricultural industry.

Ben has also managed large-scale aid programs in economic development, disaster logistics, public health, and climate resilience across the Indo-Pacific and Middle East, with expertise in net-zero transition planning and evaluation frameworks.

Ben is a seasoned professional as a Civil Engineer in the Construction industry, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise that spans across various facets of the industry. With a solid foundation in civil engineering, Ben graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Honours), providing him with a deep understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of construction.

Ben's career is marked by a strong track record of delivering comprehensive solutions to complex construction challenges on Major infrastructure projects. Ben possesses exceptional communication abilities and a talent for adaptive problem-solving, both of which have been instrumental in effectively coordinating with stakeholders and advancing project objectives.

Ben’s experience has covered the full project lifecycle from inception, business case and feasibility studies right through to project close. 

Ben is able to utilise his technical expertise, strategic thinking and delivery experience to engage and influence project team members and stakeholders. Ben’s passion lies in simplifying complex problems and providing leadership to achieve best for project outcomes.

Benjamin has over 20 years’ experience in the infrastructure, rail and resource sectors across a number of advisory, management and technical roles in both the private and public sectors.

Benjamin has extensive experience in the project feasibility, concept design, transaction and delivery phases of greenfield and brownfield projects having led bid, project and commercial teams on high value, high risk operational and infrastructure projects.He also has a technical background in industrial design including qualifications in business, organisational leadership, and mining.Benjamin specialises in commercial management, collaborative contracts, governance, procurement and transaction advisory, business systems development, budget and estimating process, surface and underground mining, heavy manufacturing as well as project management.Providing advice and consultancy services on projects for heavy rail infrastructure, rolling stock, metro infrastructure, mining and tunnelling projects in the rail and resource sectors.

Throughout his career, Benjamin has consistently delivered results in intensely competitive sectors and prides himself on his ability to coordinate and drive the delivery of “fit for purpose” solutions.

Bianca is a Bid Manager with 14 years' experience across various tiers within the construction and infrastructure sector. With a foundation in graphic design and having successfully owned her own consultancy for over 6 years, she has supported a number of major organisations within Australia and internationally.

Bianca has previously worked on large complex infrastructure tenders (including METRONET, TfNSW Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel and TfNSW Digital Systems Program) as well as construction and fitout, civil, airport, and defence projects. Her bid experience, combined with a keen eye for detail and a passion for winning, is a formidable force.

Outside of work, you will find her at a local dog park or in pursuit of hidden cocktail bars.

Bob is a consultant with 2 years of experience in commercial management and is a recent graduate of the University of Sydney, with Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering (Honours) and Design in Architecture. Since joining ConnellGriffin, he has gained valuable project experience working on both Sydney Metro City & Southwest and Sydney Water USCN.

As such, Bob is able provide commercial advice across multiple stages of the project lifecycle and his background provides him the expertise to work with more technical commercial items and effectively manage data wherever the project requires. Bob has extensive experience working in and directing interdisciplinary teams that extends much beyond his 2 years of project experience and consistently seeks to incorporate innovation and fresh perspectives whenever possible.

Braam Du Toit is a highly experienced procurement professional with over 29 years of expertise in the field. Throughout his career, Braam has demonstrated leadership in procurement transformation, strategic negotiations, and process optimization. He has contributed significantly to projects in Resources, Renewable Energy, Healthcare, and Financial Services. Braam has led Global Category Teams for EPCM and Mining Services across Australia, Chile, and South Africa.

His proficiency in negotiating complex contracts and influencing executive decision-makers to implement innovative procurement practices has driven business success. He is renowned for building and mentoring high-performing sourcing teams and fostering collaboration across cross-functional groups to achieve optimal procurement outcomes.

Braam holds degrees in Commerce and Law from South Africa and has further enhanced his qualifications with studies in Project Management and Probity in Australia.

Brendan Dietz is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in civil engineering and business management.

With a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and a degree in Business Management (International Business), Brendan brings a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to his role.

In this capacity, he leverages his extensive engineering background to provide valuable insights and advisory services, contributing to the enhancement of disaster resilience in transportation infrastructure.

Brendan's career is characterised by his involvement in headline projects that have left a lasting impact on the infrastructure landscape. Notable among these is his contribution to the Ellendale Estate project from 2016 to 2021, where his engineering capabilities played a crucial role in the successful development of the estate.

Brian is a Director and co-founder of ConnellGriffin. He has over 20 years’ experience in the construction and transport infrastructure industry. During his career, Brian has been responsible for commercial contract management of a broad range of projects.

Brian’s extensive experience working in an advisory capacity to both public and private sector clients make him a valuable asset to any project.  His experience includes the provision of commercial and contract management, risk management, claims management, project auditing, financial tt and the review and auditing of business processes and contract administration procedures.

Brian’s commercial insight combined with his strong technical skills in the industry make him well equipped to determine the most cost effective, timely and sensible solutions for clients.

Cassandra is currently studying a Bachelor of Mathematics and Economics at the University of Queensland. She is passionate about blending quantitative rigor and qualitative insight to tackle complex problems with innovative solutions. Cassandra previously worked as undergraduate accountant at Vincents Chartered Accountants in the Restructuring and Recovery team where she supported compliance of statutory obligations, conducted financial investigations and prepared reports to creditors. Through her diverse experiences in finance, economics and mathematics, Cassandra brings a unique mix of analytical precision and strategic problem solving with effective communication. Cassandra's curiosity and tenacity shapes her approach to new challenges, empowering her determination to deliver impactful results.

Having worked in the construction industry for over 16 years, mostly in the rail sector, Catherine has had the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of contractual arrangements of varying sizes, which has provided her with an array of knowledge in this field. Catherine is an extremely driven, ambitious and dedicated person, which has enabled her to progress successfully through her career so far.  She has excellent people skills and works well in all situations, which has led to only positive experiences with senior management, colleagues and clients.

Catherine’s background is in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, with clients such as Network Rail, Transport for New South Wales and Sydney Trains, working on a wide range of contractual arrangements, including Alliances, PPPs, PFIs, Target Cost and Managing Contractor.  Her experience includes leading procurement, finance and commercial teams of varying sized projects, contract and variation negotiations, risk management and bench marking analysis.

Outside of work, Catherine enjoys going to the gym, hiking and seeing the world.

Catherine is an award winning Certified Practicing Project Manager (AIPM CPPM) with over 10 years of experience working in advisory, project management, construction delivery, and design consultancy. Over the course of her career Catherine has successfully undertaken leading roles above and below the line on commercial and high-profile government projects to support the Commonwealth on a range of international projects and domestic programs with a national footprint.

Catherine is proficient in defining, planning, and drawing on innovative methods to address specific project and program objectives, including the negotiation and successful resolution of key project issues with the focus on delivering exceptional client experience. Catherine's key skills include project management, stakeholder consultation, program planning, feasibility analysis, issue identification and resolution, effective communication, and strategic decision making.

Catherine has sufficient experience working across all stages of projects and in programs, and has played critical roles in project start-up, design development, procurement, delivery, contract administration and negotiation, construction delivery, close-out and project handover phases.

Chris is an experienced CFO and finance professional who has over 20 years’ experience working for multinational organisations and private equity portfolio companies in sectors spanning health services, consumer products and financial services. Chris has most recently worked for private equity leaders Pacific Equity Partners on their investment in the Man Shake and Quadrant Private Equity’s investment in national occupational rehab provider, Generation Health. Prior to this, Chris worked for 13 years at Macquarie Group in Sydney and London, and KPMG in Sydney.

Chris enjoys developing relationships with new people in diverse sectors and applying his finance skills to assist businesses on their growth journey. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce.

Claire is a dynamic legal professional with over 8 years of experience specialising in major infrastructure and energy projects. She has proficient experience with preparing and negotiating complex contracts and managing joint ventures. Claire demonstrates a proven track record in legal counsel roles across high-value projects, including PPPs and D&C contracts, with expertise in risk assessment, compliance, and stakeholder negotiation. She has a strong ability to supervise external counsel and deliver strategic legal advice, and a commitment to fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring successful project delivery.

With twelve years' experience, Claudia has an extensive background in leading multidisciplinary teams for medium to large scale transport and infrastructure projects in Australia, the Middle East and the UK at all stages of the project lifecycle. She brings her enthusiasm, motivation, problem-solving and collaboration skills to each of her design management, project management and advisory roles. 

Claudia loves working closely with clients and stakeholders to solve their complex challenges, using a big picture approach along with attention to detail to ultimately deliver something we can all be proud of and makes a difference to the communities we serve. She is armed with a strong understanding of complex interface management, risk mitigation and a passion for bringing diverse and innovative thinking together to deliver high-quality outcomes, sustainably. 

Claudia is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland who has extensive experience across project development, design and delivery, including multidisciplinary and interface management and coordination, commercial and risk management, utilities management, contract administration and construction certification. She is joining from Arup, an international engineering firm where she began her career as an undergraduate in 2010 and more recently held the position of Queensland Roads and Streets Business Manager.

With over 20 years’ experience, Craig provides commercial and contract advisory services in the construction and transport industries. He has worked in the UK, UAE and Australia with both contractor and client organisations, gaining experience at all phases of the project life-cycle.

In recent years, Craig has worked extensively in the transport infrastructure sector focusing on the management of commercial and contractual aspects of a wide variety of projects. Craig has demonstrated his ability to lead high-performing commercial teams, comprising both client staff and consultants, to deliver complex and high-profile infrastructure projects.

Dan is a civil engineer based in Canberra, with over 20 years’ professional experience.

After commencing his career as an Army Engineer, Dan has worked extensively throughout Australia and internationally in the infrastructure industry, with a specialisation in the highways and transport sector. 

Dan is a highly regarded Project and Program Manager, having gained his experience from all phases of the Project lifecycle.

Daniel has extensive experience in the infrastructure market, providing procurement, contract and project management services for public and private sector clients, both in Australia and the United Kingdom.

This experience has provided Daniel with the knowledge to deliver large, complex, multi-disciplined projects under various contractual arrangements, at all stages of the project lifecycle.

His specific area of expertise is in the procurement and management of high-value projects. Recently he has been procuring and managing these types of contracts, within the maritime, rail and light-rail environment.

Working with clients such as John Holland, Transport for New South Wales, ARTC and most recently, Port Authority NSW, Daniel’s understanding of government policies and procedures has been integral to the development of his expertise. David is a Chartered Engineer with 8 years of experience delivering a range of service offerings including business case development, risk management, change management, portfolio management and project assurance. Prior to joining ConnellGriffin, David has undertaken multiple advisory engagements including the role as Risk Manager and Change Control Manager on Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport which required a high level of stakeholder engagement and an understanding of the delivery functions. Prior to ConnellGriffin Duncan was a Principal with Advisian (formerly Evans & Peck) where he was a key leader on various significant engagements including the transaction for a D&C contractor to design and construct NorthConnex, WestConnex M8, and went on to lead the transactions for D&C contractors to deliver M4-M5 Link and Rozelle Interchange with ConnellGriffin.

Prior to these engagements he led the delivery of the White Bay Cruise Terminal program of work (including new terminal building, road and marine infrastructure upgrades and specialist gangways), and worked in the Middle East delivering significant infrastructure for the state-owned developer Nakheel at Palm Jebal Ali.

Dylan has worked in the delivery of infrastructure across Transport, Education and Health sectors. His experience ranges from early feasibility assessments through to delivery, commissioning and asset management. Dylan has an open and collaborative approach to project delivery, which sees him working closely with project teams, clients and stakeholders to achieve well balanced and practical solutions.

He is a chartered Civil Engineer with over 17 years of experience in both Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Prior to joining Connell Griffin he held roles such as the Queensland Highways Business Leader and the ACT Office Leader for international Engineering Firm Arup.

Edward is a qualified Civil Engineer with four years of infrastructure advisory and management experience working for Tier 1 contractors and government agencies within Australia and overseas. His experience and knowledge focus on project planning, scope of work development, transaction management, engineering design and project management.

James has extensive experience in infrastructure procurement and commercial strategy on major projects and programs of work across the resources, energy, water and transport sectors. James has acted as a key transaction and advisor on various high-profile, major infrastructure projects including Inland Rail, P4S, Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre and Sydney Metro.

James brings a passion for developing excellent stakeholder relationships in complex business settings and supporting clients in achieving outcomes in challenging environments, he is able to effectively leverage best practice tools and ensure Clients are effectively prepared for complex decision making.

Jamie is an RICS qualified Commercial Manager with 10 years experience gained in Cost Management and Quantity Surveying roles in both the UK and Australia. His qualifications include an MSc in Quantity Surveying and an MSc in Renewable Energy, Enterprise and Management. Jamie has worked across the full project lifecycle and has experience of advising clients in both the public and private sector, including secondments into Government organisations.

Jamie understands that the proactive commercial management of projects is crucial in meeting client objectives. He has experience of managing teams from project inception to completion, including stakeholder and risk management. He is focused on establishing a collaborative working environment on every project to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Prior to joining ConnellGriffin, Jamie worked for a global construction consultancy, managing the commercial aspects of projects in the Education, Health, Data Centres and Residential sectors amongst others.

Janice is a penultimate-year student at the University of Sydney, pursuing a dual degree in Biomedical Engineering and Commerce. She brings valuable consulting experience from her time as a banking consultant at ANZ, and she recently completed an internship with the Group Treasury Transaction & Structure team at Macquarie Group. 

Jared is an accomplished Civil Engineer approaching 10 years’ experience in infrastructure delivery across a wide range of projects from $4b to $10m in value. His versatility and expertise have been shaped from hands on Contractor roles to client side delivery in addition to design management with demonstrable capability in commercial, technical, quality assurance and project management. This range of capability has demonstrated Jared’s ability to deliver solutions to complex problems and adapt to the varying requirements of his clients within the construction industry.

Jared brings a diverse range of project delivery experience across roadworks, structures and rail on projects such as WestConnex New M5 (M8), Geelong Fast Rail and Sydney Airport Ground Access Improvements. Delivering these major projects has provided Jared the opportunities to develop key skills to effectively manage claims, stakeholders and contract administration to achieve success from Concept to Delivery.

Jason is a recent Civil Engineering and Law graduate from the University of New South Wales. Prior to joining Connell Griffin, Jason has worked as a design engineer specialising in structural, geotechnical, and temporary works on major infrastructure projects based around Sydney. His technical design experience coupled with his prior experience as a paralegal in financial restructuring and insolvency has provided him with a strong commercial acumen and the necessary skills to excel in the infrastructure advisory sphere. 

Jason’s background in structural, geotechnical, temporary works coupled with his legal experience has allowed him to understand not only the technical aspects of civil engineering but also the importance of communication in the timely delivery of projects to meet time and budget constraints.

Jeffrey is a highly competent and motivated senior consultant with over 4 years of experience in managing all stages of the project lifecycle. Graduating with a bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) and Commerce (Finance) from The University of Sydney, he has been involved in the strategic planning, development and delivery of precincts of state and national significance and has experience with business cases, planning and heritage submissions, construction management, and establishing project controls.

Prior to joining ConnellGriffin, Jeffrey was engaged on the Parramatta North and Macquarie Street East Precincts and has successfully managed the interface with key stakeholders, completed multiple Business Cases and managed the design and delivery of heritage conservation and adaptive reuse works. Having a pragmatic and adaptable problem-solving approach combined with strong communication skills and a passion for understanding diverse viewpoints and perspectives, this enables him to achieve excellent results for his projects.

Jennifer has a Master’s Degree in Law with a Graduate Certificate in Practical Legal Training from the University of Technology Sydney. She was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 2017 and has a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry from the University of Bristol in the UK.

Jennifer’s previous experience has been in the legal sector in commercial litigation, building and construction law and dispute resolution. With a background in science, Jennifer has the ability to think critically, analyse and provide practical solutions.     

Since joining ConnellGriffin in 2017, Jennifer has been gaining experience in procurement of infrastructure projects. This experience has included documents management, preparation of procurement documentation and management of the procurement process. 

Jennifer spends most of her time outside of work playing and attending sporting events, playing netball and oz tag all year round. She is a member and regular attendee of Sydney FC but staying true to her heritage Jennifer remains a loyal England supporter.

Jesse draws on his 8+ years of experience in the built environment industry, specialising in project management, data analysis and visualisation, and strategic planning, particularly within the infrastructure sector. His expertise and experience includes leading, advising and supporting large-scale, multidisciplinary projects across all stages of the project lifecycle for both public and private clients. 

He is known for his strong capabilities in stakeholder engagement, seamlessly navigating complex environments to align diverse stakeholder interests with project objectives. He has a proficiency in creating innovative solutions, coupled with a passion for effective communication, and has consistently driven project success and strategic decision-making. 

Jesse has a focus on delivering value and efficiency, which reflects his commitment to enhancing infrastructure and transport services through thoughtful, data-driven strategies and a proactive approach to data analysis, developing insightful metrics and analyses that transform complex data into actionable information.

Jessica provides data driven insights and strategic advice across a range of industries including health, education, sport, arts, tourism, aviation, construction and energy. Jessica is an accomplished professional with nearly 20 years of global experience in economic and infrastructure advisory with over 14 of those years spent at PwC in Canada and Australia. She has led a number of complex city shaping projects using various strategy and economic analytical techniques including economy-wide modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and geospatial modelling for government, non-profit and private sector clients. She has worked on projects that influence investment decisions for hospitals, universities, precincts, the arts, climate resilience as well as on large sporting events including the Olympic and Paralympic Games and sporting world cups.

Underpinning the delivery of complex infrastructure projects with this technical capability has allowed her to become a trusted advisor, particularly as they relate to business case development, localised impact and benefit analysis, industry studies and policy recommendations. Many of the reports authored by Jessica are published in the public domain. This means her work needs to be technically robust and has the ability to stand up to public scrutiny. Jessica is well known for her leadership style, which is based on trust and transparency with a commitment to building authentic relationships with her team and clients. Her collaborative approach to engagements allows her to be flexible and agile and respond to changing circumstances and demands.

Jonathan is a highly accomplished commercial advisor with over 17 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects across the energy, rail, road, and social infrastructure sectors. Recognised for his leadership and ability to drive multidisciplinary teams, Jonathan has a proven track record of delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to exceptional standards. His technical expertise, strategic approach, and commitment to stakeholder engagement have earned him a reputation for achieving enduring project outcomes and fostering long-term professional relationships.

Jonathan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ireland and further enhanced his qualifications with Project Management studies in Australia. Following his studies he spent 7 years at Transport for NSW, where he managed critical projects under the Transport Access Program. In this role, he successfully delivered railway station construction, transport interchanges, roadworks, and commuter car park developments, showcasing his ability to manage complex, high-impact infrastructure initiatives.

Following a sabbatical in 2018, Jonathan joined Aurecon Group in Auckland, where he was seconded full-time to the City Rail Link Project. As Senior Project Manager, he led the client owner verifier team, overseeing delivery for the rail systems and stations contract.

Returning to Sydney in 2019, Jonathan joined ConnellGriffin, where he held senior leadership roles on prominent projects, including Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport, Sydney Water P4S, TfNSW Parramatta Light Rail, and the TfNSW Coffs Harbour Bypass. Since relocating to Brisbane in 2021, Jonathan has been instrumental in ConnellGriffin’s operations in Queensland, playing a key role in shaping the state’s infrastructure landscape. His extensive experience, technical proficiency, and dedication to excellence position him as a trusted leader and advisor in the infrastructure sector.

Jonathan is an experienced infrastructure advisor, project manager and Chartered Structural Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the planning, design and management of projects, spanning across multiple industries such as residential, education, health, energy and cultural. Jonathan has worked in both the private and public sector as a client side consultant and advisor.

With experience across the project lifecycle from business case to delivery, Jonathan brings strategic thinking and problem solving to every project, with a whole-of-project approach to infrastructure advisory. Qualified in Civil Engineering and Finance, Jonathan utilises a combination of technical expertise and business acumen to optimise outcomes for the client and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. He is experienced in business case writing and strategic planning, design, stakeholder management, commercial management, procurement, contract administration and project management.

Juan is an experienced and trusted consultant providing infrastructure and procurement advice to various clients. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Business (Finance) from the Queensland University of Technology.

Juan has extensive experience in the procurement of transport services and business case development for the purposes of supporting client investment decisions. He has supported the development of several major road and rail transport business cases including, the North West Transport Network and Rockhampton Ring Road. 

Juan has also provided financial and commercial services across a range of air, bus and rail passenger services and freight transport across Australia. 

Julia is a recent University of New South Wales graduate with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours).  Prior to joining ConnellGriffin, Julia gained experience in the construction industry working as a construction cadet for 2.5 years. She has had the opportunity to engage with various industrial, commercial, health and education projects across all stages of the project lifecycle. Julia has previously held roles in site engineering, contracts administration, estimating and safety management, she hopes that her diverse understanding of construction processes will add value to her role as an infrastructure consultant.

Kate is a strategic and collaborative leader with extensive experience working in the public sector in the fields of stakeholder management, community engagement, project management, government relations and strategic communications. Kate brings enthusiasm, motivation and a deep commitment to establishing meaningful connections on every project, ensuring complex stakeholder relationships are managed throughout the entire lifecycle, to support the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.

Kate is confident providing strategic advice and guidance to stakeholders of all levels, including elected officials and advisors, executive leadership teams, community leaders and other key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry and peak bodies. Kate is a civil engineer with more than ten years’ experience in project management and the construction industry. Having served as both a transaction advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on major procurements, Kate possesses a unique understanding of how to effectively lead and contribute to the planning, procurement, and evaluation phases of projects. Her proficiency extends to managing complex stakeholder relationships throughout all stages of project development and delivery, establishing meaningful connections with key stakeholders, delivery partners, and project leaders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Katerina is a registered architect with 7 years’ experience in planning and designing urban-scale and commercial projects in the private and public sectors. Katerina joins CG from KPMG, where she developed business cases for federal government and defence clients, managed the design of large social infrastructure projects for tertiary education precincts, and contributed to feasibility and strategic planning documents for airbase infrastructure. Before KPMG, Katerina worked in architecture firms in Canberra and Melbourne across the project lifecycle on educational precincts, multi-residential towers, urban masterplans, and airport projects.  

Kelly Davies is a former energy lawyer focusing on the development, acquisition and financing of energy projects and energy procurement and sustainability strategies for large businesses. She works closely with clients on all energy aspects of their business and advises on energy transactions both internationally and domestically across the energy sector.

Kelly has over 15 years’ experience that spans the energy industry and includes oil and gas (upstream, midstream and downstream), power (conventional (including nuclear) and renewable), energy storage and new fuels (including hydrogen) and related infrastructure delivery in various regions globally.

She has an extensive background in multi-disciplinary transactional and advisory work including significant expertise across markets on PPAs, M&A, project financing, project delivery (EPC, O&M, PPAs, Grid, Asset Management etc) and energy regulation. Outside of the conventional development, acquisition and financing experience, Kelly also focusses on new technologies and innovative project and transaction implementation in the energy transition. Her experience extends to advising traditional energy clients and non-traditional / non-energy clients on transformational projects in the sector. This includes a broad range of matters, from new fuels, through to, distributed energy solutions, VPP, sustainability strategies more.

Kevin is a qualified civil engineer with over 5 years of experience in the design and project management of civil works both in the built environment and infrastructure space. Having previously held roles in design consultancies both large and small, he has been involved in a wide variety of projects spanning the residential, commercial, industrial, education, aged care and transport sectors at various stages of delivery.

Kevin brings a strong technical background coupled with a good understanding of key project drivers through his experience interacting and collaborating across a range of stakeholders including contractors, architects, and approval authorities. Through managing and delivering designs for projects of all shapes and sizes, he has developed a sound understanding of design and constructability principles as well as the interfaces between various technical disciplines.

Kevin is a Consultant with Honours qualifications in Civil Engineering from the University of New South Wales. Since joining ConnellGriffin, Kevin has developed a suite of professional, commercial and management skills to complement the technical knowledge garnered from his degree. Kirsten is a dynamic Marketing and Communications Coordinator with a Bachelor of Design (Honours) from UNSW. With a keen eye for design aesthetics and a strategic mindset, she thrives in creating compelling visual content that effectively communicates key messages and enhances brand identity.

Kunal graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from UNSW. Kunal has worked on a number of prominent land development and infrastructure projects with an engineering consultancy including Barangaroo Stage 1B – One Sydney Harbour Public Domain and M6 Stage 1 – Community Recreational Facilities. He has worked across the project lifecycle, from feasibility or due diligence assessments through to design development and construction. His industry experience to date has included project and design management, stakeholder engagement and construction superintendency.

Kunal is a strong problem solver with demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills. His dual degree and design consulting experience equips him with a robust commercial acumen and an appreciation for the technical challenges faced within a project.

Lauren is an experienced bid and business development professional with over 10 years’ experience. She has supported the business development, client relationship and bid management functions of major organisations within Australia and internationally.

Lauren is skilled in driving and supporting multi-disciplined teams to win diverse projects in the highly competitive infrastructure, transport, defence, hospital and health services, not-for-profit, and insurance sectors.

Her business development and bid experience, combined with a passion for thinking outside the box, enables Lauren to lead, support, and challenge bid teams in developing powerful proposal responses and to write and present submissions that succeed.

Lauren is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience working as a Commercial and Transaction Advisor on large-scale infrastructure projects in London and Sydney. Lauren has multi-disciplinary experience across the project life-cycle ranging from road upgrades, precinct developments, rail projects, station & over station developments to ferry wharves. During her career Lauren has had substantial involvement in the planning, delivery and management of pre-contract transaction activities to post contract commercial and risk management, contract administration, commercial claim support as well as commercial and contractual advice and reporting.

Lauren has led transaction and commercial teams working for both private and public sector clients in Sydney including Lendlease, Transport for NSW and Sydney Metro and prides herself in working collaboratively with her clients, while striving to achieve best for project outcomes.

Lauren gained Membership to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in May 2012 and completed a Masters in Construction Law at the University of Melbourne in December 2017.

Australia has been Lauren’s home since January 2014, but every now and then her true South African heritage comes out when she can be heard cheering for the Springboks.

Leigh is a Certified Practicing Project Director and Chartered Engineer with over 12 years’ experience delivering significant community infrastructure projects with a comprehensive understanding of professional project and program management practices. A high-performing inclusive leader experienced in the delivery of critical infrastructure projects, Leigh has a strong focus on delivering agreed business/community benefits and achieving strategic objectives. Starting his career as an Agricultural Engineer working with groundwater in the Great Artesian Basin, Leigh quickly honed his multidisciplinary skills in State and Local Government delivering significant community infrastructure projects across various sectors including road, water, social, and major sporting infrastructure sectors.

Lucas is a graduate from Monash University holding Bachelors in both Civil Engineering (Honours) and Commerce (Finance). Lucas joined ConnellGriffin as an undergraduate in 2021 through the Undergraduate Development Program, where he gained valuable insight and experience through the Sydney Metro City and South West Commercial Team. Lucas aided the Metro team in a multitude of different areas from contract administration, claims assessment and preparation of settlement negotiations.

Lucy has 18 years professional experience and a track record of successfully supporting clients during the early project development, business case and procurement phases of infrastructure and strategic planning projects. Lucy has worked on some of the most complex infrastructure projects in Australia and the UK, and has held key roles for School Infrastructure NSW, Sydney Metro, the Greater Sydney Commission and UrbanGrowth NSW. She has also worked with Government and private sector clients in the UK on high profile projects such as Thames Tideway, High Speed 2 and Crossrail. 

Her breadth of experience in multiple sectors demonstrates a high level of adaptability and responsiveness to client needs. Her ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborate across disciplines and engage key stakeholders, is credit to her positive demeanour and strong leadership and communication skills. Lucy is able to present complex information clearly and persuasively to influence at all levels to achieve successful outcomes for her clients.

Manish Bhandari, is a seasoned engineer with a robust background in civil engineering and disaster recovery programs. With a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Honours (BEng Honours), Advanced Diploma in Management (Business Management) and a Certificate IV in Accounting, Manish possesses a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic management skills. Manish has demonstrated proficiency in providing strategic and technical advice during his past roles. Manish is proficient in flood damage assessments, and coordinating pickup, delivery and acquittal processes through his role with the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA). His expertise extends to the management of road maintenance performance contracts and construction deliveries, where he ensures optimal performance and maintenance of road infrastructure. Additionally, Manish is well-versed in cost estimation and contract administration, ensuring projects are executed within budgetary constraints and that contractual obligations are met.

Moreover, his involvement in projects such as guardrail defect repairs, the Barcaldine Renewable Energy Project, Dajarra's pavement rehabilitation and widening, and flood damage projects in the Central West region highlight his versatility in handling diverse infrastructure challenges. Mari Clohessy is a seasoned professional with a wealth of expertise in quantity surveying and project management. Armed with a BSc (Honours) in Quantity Surveying, a Diploma in Project Management and MRICS accreditation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Mari brings a unique blend of academic excellence and practical experience to her role as Advisor. With over ten years of post-qualification experience as a qualified civil quantity surveyor, Mari has garnered substantial knowledge while working on a diverse array of international, large-scale mining and civil engineering projects. Her proficiency in managing complex projects has been a key factor in her career journey.

In her current role, Mari is actively involved in project management and transition activities. Mark has proven leadership capability and a willingness to be accountable for developing and delivering transformational strategies, programmes and projects.

Mark has exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement and executive partnering skills supported by in depth knowledge of whole of lifecycle elements of property portfolio and project management and strong technical project delivery and strategy execution capability. He has extensive corporate governance experience - creating and implementing best practice policy, process and cultural change with demonstrated capacity to build and lead large and diverse multidisciplinary teams and a proven record of innovation and change / stakeholder management. 

Mark joined ConnellGriffin from School Infrastructure NSW where, in his Director role in the infrastructure Planning team, he led a team of infrastructure professionals in the early project development phase of over 50 new school and upgrade projects with a total capital investment value of over $4bn. 

 Outside of work, Mark enjoys playing and watching anything sport related. He is also a Board Member for the not for profit Warrakirri College, a not for profit independent school for students aged 15–22 who have disconnected from mainstream education.

Mark is a well-regarded Senior Advisor and an experienced Senior Project Manager. Mark has more than 14 years’ experience in the management of major infrastructure projects in Sydney. Mark has extensive experience in several different service streams and recent transaction management roles held with Transgrid and Transport for New South Wales on HumeLink, Sydney Metro’s Western Sydney Airport and M6 Stage 1 projects has further developed his strong level of commercial acumen.

Mark has extensive experience in several different service streams, including transaction, design, planning, delivery and overall management of the project lifecycle. Mark’s core focus is on the provision of frontend advisory services being transaction management, design management, project planning, scope definition, risk management and contingency planning.

Mark has experience as a contractor and consultant in both the public and private sector providing him with a skill set to effectively manage project objectives and deliverables to meet target outcomes with a strong regard for stakeholders and project constraints.

For the past two years, Mark has been engaged by Transgrid in the role of Transaction Manager on their new 360km 500kV transmission line project, HumeLink ($3.3b), playing a key role in the procurement of two D&C ITC contracts via a two-staged ECI procurement process.

Prior to joining ConnellGriffin in 2018, Mark was engaged as a Portfolio Manager on the Easing Sydney’s Congestion Program ($225m) for a period of three years leading the design and delivery of their program of works via the Stewardship Maintenance Contract.

Mark possesses a highly client focused approach with an emphasis on building strong internal and external relationships to support the delivery of a project. In addition, his experience in the field coupled with the office provides him with a diversified approach to managing and resolving complex project issues.

Outside of work, Mark’s priority is family, particularly his two young sons who keeps him busy – spare time is dedicated to health and fitness, enjoying the gym and outdoor activities. Mark is also a keen traveller.

Martin has over 13 years of experience in commercial and legal advisory on high profile and complex transport infrastructure projects, including the West Gate Tunnel and CityLink. He specialises in the commercial and contractual challenges associated with the development, delivery and operation of major projects, with particular interest in transport projects involving tunnels and tolling infrastructure.

Martin has a deep understanding of project structuring from a contractual, operational, technological and financial perspective, and applies this expertise to the development of procurement strategies; leading teams through commercial and contractual negotiations to achieve contract close. He has worked with a wide-range of stakeholders to develop new operating models and to put in place new tolling and freeway management systems.

Martin has also managed teams resolving significant project claims and disputes during delivery and, as projects transition from delivery into operations, navigating commercial issues arising during commissioning and completion.

Able to focus on the detail while never losing sight of the bigger picture, and with an ability to write and communicate clearly and succinctly, Martin utilises his commercial and contractual knowledge to ensure the best outcomes for client and project.

Martin has 24 years’ commercial management experience in the construction industry both in the private and public sector. Martin’s recent experience has included leading procurement and commercial management teams on billion dollar light rail, rail, airport and infrastructure projects where he has created strong commercial teams to deliver the desired project outcomes.

Martin’s key strengths are his commercial acumen and rigorous analytical skills coupled with his client driven focus. These skills assist him to provide the highest quality of service across all working commitments on the client or contracting side whilst aligning team member activities towards project goals and outcomes.

Martin likes all things sport and in the weekend you will usually find him coaching his son’s local soccer team, or otherwise running the kids to their extracurricular sporting or dance activities.

Maryann has over two years’ experience in infrastructure project planning and delivery across both public and private sectors in Queensland and New South Wales. She has experience working in the transport sector, precinct planning and development, and whole-of-government projects.

Maryann’s expertise includes supporting state and local government in procurements and transaction management, program management, undertaking financial and commercial analysis and preparing business cases. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and is a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ).

Matt is a Civil Engineer with eighteen years experience in the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects in Australia and the United Kingdom. His experience includes design management, construction management, transaction management, contract management and property and interface management across the rail, road, building, power, water and justice sectors.

Matt has a technical background in civil engineering, including a focus on ground engineering and tunnelling projects. He has led multidisciplinary teams during the development and delivery phases of several major projects, and has operated as a senior leader within a Tier 1 engineering consultancy.

Matt’s recent experience includes leading the transaction management of recent major infrastructure projects in Sydney, including WestConnex O&M, WestConnex M4-M5 Link, WestConnex Rozelle Interchange and Warringah Freeway Upgrade. Matt has demonstrated his ability to be able to understand complex commercial and delivery issues, communicate at a high level across organisations and diverse groups of stakeholders, and lead project teams towards achieving challenging project milestones.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys soccer, running and surfing.

Matthew is a Chartered structural engineer and infrastructure advisor with experience in project management, design and delivery of complex infrastructure projects across Australia. He brings extensive experience across the project lifecycle within the social infrastructure, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. Matthew has worked across both public and private sectors as a client-side consultant and advisor, providing a breadth of services including consulting engineering, project and program management, strategic planning, capital planning, procurement and commercial advisory.

Matthew draws on his breadth of consulting, design and delivery experience to bring a holistic approach to project planning, strategy, problem solving and risk management. He has experience working with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders. Matthew combines a technical skillset, strategic thinking and commercial acumen to deliver successful outcomes for his clients.

Meg is an infrastructure advisory consultant and project leader with a background in civil engineering. She has experience in business case development, technical project delivery, and client-side project development in multiple sectors, including water, transport, and social infrastructure. She has experience across the spectrum of capital value, including high-profile major projects and precinct-scale developments. 

Meg is outcomes-focused and has a collaborative approach to project leadership. She develops highly successful and trusting working relationships, and is adept at leading through complex environments. She excels at communicating to any audience, from technical multi-disciplinary teams to executive decision-makers, and is skilled in project and design management, stakeholder engagement, business case development and has an astute appreciation for risk.

Mia has over 17 years’ experience in program management in the transport (aviation, rail and roads), social infrastructure and power & utilities sectors. Mia has utilised her qualifications in Chemical and Mechanical Engineering from France and her MBA from UNSW to provide strategic advice to various sectors traversing everything from Formula 1 racing through to banking institutions. 

She has led programs and PMO establishment and implementation initiatives with a particular focus on risk/benefit management and lean processes. Mia’s diverse and international experiences across a range of industries is testament to her ability to lead and work effectively within multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, solving complex issues all whilst developing strong client relationships and effectively managing expectations.

Michael Donaldson is a finance professional with more than 20 years of experience in private and corporate sectors. Michael’s bachelor's degree in internal auditing enables him to implement and improve policies and procedures to drive best practices and optimise efficiency.

Before immigrating to Australia Michael was the CFO for one of the largest craft beer breweries in South Africa. Most recently Michael has been working in the allied health sector for companies that deliver services ranging from occupational rehab to aged care. Michael looks forward to building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Michael is an experienced consultant with strong expertise in financial and commercial advisory, strategic planning and complex project management. Michael has worked across most real estate and infrastructure asset classes, with the past 10 years spent focusing on Social Infrastructure including Higher Education, Health, Social Housing and Justice Infrastructure. Michael works with state government, developers, institutional and private capital to work through complex infrastructure investment decisions. A Management Consultant by background, Michael focuses on combining a strong strategic approach with his commercial expertise to provide decision makers with a balanced perspective and an actionable pathway forward.

Michael has over 17 years of experience and has worked internationally across Australia, Middle East and South Africa. Michael was formerly the Head of Development and Divestment at TAFE NSW, where he led the planning for several large initiatives including the Meadowbank Education Precinct and worked closely with the NSW Government on several land transactions. He was also a Senior Advisor to the University of Sydney, where he led large strategic engagements including the partnership with the NSW Government on the Biomedical Accelerator and strategic landholding planning for Western Sydney.

Michelle has 18 years’ experience in the planning phases of projects, successfully managing large multi-disciplinary teams through the planning phases of projects (initiation through to schematic design), providing strong leadership and expert knowledge in problem definition and the development of robust options by understanding the context of services being driven by, ‘business continuity’, ‘service growth’ and/or ‘service efficiency’.

She has extensive experience in the development of business cases, having led and written over 40 successful business cases totalling over $2.6BN (AUD) in social infrastructure, helping clients deliver wellbeing outcomes for their communities with schools, hospitals and other public buildings.

Michelle is passionate about environmental sustainability and has been an active National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) Accredited Assessor (Offices, Hotels, Schools, Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living) since 2010.

With an authentic and committed leadership style Michelle enjoys growing the capability of the teams she works with and has had the privilege to be a mentor with The National Association for Women in Construction (NAWIC) since 2023.

Miff has more than 15 years of construction industry experience and developed significant expertise in the prosecution and management of large-scale construction disputes on some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects. This has been whilst working for Abigroup Contractors Pty Ltd, Lendlease Engineering, Corrs Chambers Westgarth and her own consulting company StrategyOne Project Solutions Pty Ltd.

In addition to the substantial legal and project management skills acquired, Miff has successfully gained the trust and confidence of site personnel, senior management, senior executives, business unit leads as well as external advisors including DAB members both at a project and corporate level.

Miff possesses excellent problem-solving skills and strive to find innovative solutions in challenging situations for her clients. Having consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, project management and dispute resolution skills and an ability to work on complex matters autonomously, Miff offers a wealth of in house and commercial experience.

Natasha is an accomplished leader, project manager and commercial advisor with over 15 years’ experience working across several high-profile large public sector infrastructure and operational projects both in Australia and Internationally. She has extensive experience in establishing and managing programs of work including definition of requirements, governance and stakeholder engagement, project and program delivery, risk and commercial management and integration into operations. Natasha has a strong focus in providing operational readiness advisory, operations integration and strategic operations optimisation services to all phases of projects, from inception to delivery to ensure project outcomes meet business requirements and benefits are realised. Natasha’s business operations knowledge combined with her technical and strong communication skills enable her to work across complex stakeholder and multi-discipline environments to deliver client outcomes and most recently she has been integral in developing an operational readiness program for Brisbane Metro and Commercial Manager of a large PPP project.

Nathan is an accomplished advisor with over a decade of experience planning and executing major infrastructure projects for the Queensland Government. Nora is an experienced Commercial Consultant and Lawyer, holding a Bachelor of Laws degree with extensive experience in the delivery of large-scale construction and infrastructure related projects. Nora has years of experience working for both Tier 1 Construction Contractors as well as government agencies on iconic projects such as Sydney Metro’s City & Southwest’s Linewide project, Transport for NSW’s Sydney Metro - Waterloo Station project along with New Intercity Fleet (NIF) project.

Nora brings commercial management knowledge in a wide array of project delivery areas. Prior to Nora being engaged solely as a commercial manager, she was focused on her role as a commercial and civil litigation solicitor working on large scale matters concerning construction related issues as well as carrying out her role as a commercial manager on a number of different projects. Her industry experience includes commercial management and delivery, claims and dispute resolution, settlement negotiation, adjudication expertise, stakeholder management, negotiations, management of subcontractors and suppliers, contract specialist, ensure delivery of contract performance, the drafting of contractual terms

Nushan is a highly experienced and seasoned engineer immersed in transformative projects shaping Sydney and greater NSW, spanning state-significant road, rail, tunnelling, and energy infrastructure projects.

Nushan has provided transaction management, commercial and project management services for a variety of client across the project life cycle, with a focus in the development and delivery spaces.

Collaborating with and working for clients including Transurban, TfNSW, Sydney Metro, and most recently, Transgrid, Nushan's experience from both the client and contractor perspectives has honed great commercial insight, grounded in technical understanding, and the recognition of significance in achieving mutually beneficial results.

Projects that Nushan has worked on include the M7-M12 Integration Project, New England Renewable Energy Zone, Hunter Transmission Project, Sydney Metro TSE, Southwest Metro Corridor Works, More Trains More Services and Sydney Light Rail.

Omtah is an experienced commercial advisor and lawyer with a strong background in the areas of major infrastructure transaction, delivery advisory and claims management to infrastructure projects. With a strong background in Law, Omtah has undertaken contract management, procurement and commercial negotiations within complex legal and contractual arrangements. In addition to this, Omtah has commercial management and end-to-end contract administration experience. This experience coupled with her Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Studies has enabled Omtah to provide specialized advisory and strategic solutions to optimise client outcomes.

Owen Smith is a highly accomplished engineering professional with over 15 years’ experience in the management of complex, critical infrastructure projects. Owen holds a Master of Professional Engineering Leadership, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), and is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), and a member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust). His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, gained through experience working within client organisations, design consulting and contractor organisations. His understanding of the nature and complexity of various infrastructure projects has proved essential to the delivery of successful outcomes for clients.

Owen's career highlights include his role as a key contributor to Transurban, a publicly listed infrastructure company operating tolled motorways across Australia and North America. Since 2022, Owen has been engaged by Transurban for front-end project and technical advisory services, playing a pivotal role in the development, planning and design of upgrade projects for the network. In 2020, Owen showcased his commercial and technical acumen as he led the client-side project management for the DRFA20B Bushfire Event Reconstruction portfolio. This involved overseeing the end-to-end planning, design and procurement of projects following bushfire damage to sections of the Mt Lindesay and Cunningham Highway in SEQ.

Another noteworthy project under Owen's supervision is the Cunningham's Gap Reconstruction, featuring complex geotechnical solutions, including the world's longest and tallest rock fall barrier and attenuation scheme. Patrick is an experienced Infrastructure Advisor, Project Manager and Civil Engineer, with over 12 years of experience in the infrastructure and construction industries. His expertise spans the rail, energy, defence, utilities and commercial building sectors, encompassing roles with engineering contractors, client side delivery and advisory positions. He has a proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in Australia and the United Kingdom across the project lifecycle.

Patrick’s strengths include strong project management, project controls, financial analysis, cost control, contracts administration and procurement expertise. He was able to provide assistance in the claims and risk assessment stages for the Sydney Metro (SSJ) project, where he had prior experience working as an assistant underwriter at HDI Global SE.

Throughout university, Patrick has been involved in advanced academic projects, including delivery strategies for the Western Sydney Airport and the electrification of the Sydney Bus Fleet, with AECOM and WSP respectively. Paul has over 30 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industries. Paul commenced his career as a civil engineer in the electricity industry and was involved in the planning, design and construction of major power stations and high voltage transmission lines in NSW. He moved into management consulting in the 1990s and has undertaken assignments in the building, transport, water, defence, IT, power and mining industries. During this time, Paul also project managed a number of building contracts involving major sporting facilities (grandstands), health facilities and aged care facilities.

In recent years, Paul has largely worked in the economic infrastructure (airports, rail, light rail, roads, utilities) and social infrastructure (buildings) sectors. Paul provides industry clients with strategic planning and/or forensic advice on their major developments. Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling, Risk Management, Forensic Analysis and Dispute Resolution (Schedule Delay Analysis) are areas in which he has particular expertise.

Peggy joined Connell Griffin after a diverse career path that began in Germany, where she practiced law for two years before moving to Australia. Over the past five years, she has gained extensive experience as a Contract Administrator, working with both smaller and Tier 2 Contractors. Her expertise spans contract management, subcontractor coordination, cost control, and procurement. Peggy has been involved in all stages of project lifecycles, from tendering and negotiation to on-site execution and final closeout. This hands-on experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of the construction process and strong problem-solving skills. Peggy embraces new challenges as opportunities for growth and skill enhancement.

Peter has over 15 years’ experience providing strategic advice to state governments on financial, commercial, and procurement aspects of service delivery contracts in the transport and health sectors. Peter focuses on achieving the best value for money and budget certainty for government, establishing contractual arrangements that facilitate effective management of service provider performance, and ensuring continuity of critical government services.

Peter’s experience covers transport services and infrastructure contracts and PPP’s including tendering and re-negotiation of bus services contracts, ferry services contracts, ticketing systems and other transport technology projects across the full project lifecycle from strategic procurement advice and contract design to contract management.

In the health sector, Peter has advised on a range of rotary and fixed wing aeromedical retrieval and rescue services contracts. Services cover strategic advice and comprehensive financial, commercial and procurement advice on tendered and negotiated processes with private and NGO aviation service providers.

Peter is currently pursuing a Master of Civil Engineering at the University of Melbourne focusing on renewable energy, Peter brings a passion for sustainable infrastructure and data-driven solutions to the team. Phoebe is a strategic commercial advisor working within the infrastructure industry. She has extensive experience providing advisory services at all phases of the project lifecycle on complex and high-profile linear infrastructure projects within the energy, road, rail, rollingstock and maritime sectors. Phoebe’s experience is underpinned by qualifications in Civil Engineering and Construction Law 

Phoebe has a breadth of experience across sectors in the planning, delivery and management of major projects including pre-contract project definition, business case and contract formation to delivery, commercial and risk management, commercial claim support and dispute avoidance. Phoebe has led high-performing integrated commercial teams and provide strategic commercial advice on a wide variety of projects. Raj is a qualified Civil Engineering and MBA graduate with 16 years of experience in infrastructure advisory and engineering for government and private sector clients, encompassing transportation, energy, utilities and property development projects.

Raj started his career as a geotechnical design engineer and has since developed a diverse infrastructure skill-set across all stages of the project lifecycle.  He has written and co-ordinated business cases for rail projects, managed D&C transaction processes for major road assets, co-ordinated technical due diligence reporting as part of major asset sales (roads and hydropower), and implemented performance improvement initiatives with a particular focus on project management frameworks, portfolio optimisation and governance.

Throughout his career Raj has developed an excellent track record in stakeholder management, and has experience facilitating risk workshops and training seminars. He is a confident communicator, project team leader and certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Ravi is a qualified mechanical engineer with further qualifications in mathematics and physics. His diverse experience spans 10-years within the industry and has acted for principals, contractors and subcontractors. The breadth of Ravi’s experience and his ability to clarify and achieve a deep understanding of stakeholders empower him to add value across each stage of the project life cycle.

Ravi is experienced in the mining, building and water infrastructure sectors in both delivery and commercial management roles. This experience gives Ravi a unique and valuable skillset to leverage as he moves into commercial advisory. Ravi is also an effective communicator, empathetically understanding the needs of those around him which enables him to integrate and work collaboratively within teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Raynon has over 15 years’ experience in planning procuring and delivering complex infrastructure programs in Australia and in the UK. His experiences include the whole of project lifecycle from development of concepts to evaluation of options, from packaging, developing contracting & procurement strategies to negotiations & contract award, and, from delivery to system testing & handover.

Raynon has extensive experiences in formulating, negotiating, and administering multiple form of contracts including NEC, GC21 and AS form of contracts. Furthermore, he has a strong understanding of construction law, and the ability to resolve disputes quickly and effectively, while also maintaining positive relationships with all parties involved.

Raynon is a keen innovator and is able to develop/utiliz systems and processes to better support the delivery of works. He is also a strong advocate of leveraging lessons learnt (not just the failings, but the practices that worked) in the successful delivery of projects.

Rebecca Henderson has extensive experience in engineering excellence and disaster response. While pursuing a degree in civil engineering, Rebecca is currently serving as the principal technical advisor in the Natural Disaster Program at the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in Queensland. In her past positions, Rebecca has played pivotal roles in disaster recovery and strategic advisory capacities.

As a program officer at the Queensland Reconstruction Authority, she contributed significantly to the delivery and management of disaster recovery programs. Her experience also extends to the Goondiwindi Regional Council, where she served as a project engineer for the 2021 DRFA Delivery. Rebecca also served as a strategic advisor for the Paroo Shire Council DRFA Portfolio Review. These roles showcased her versatility in managing diverse projects and providing strategic guidance.

Currently, as the principal technical advisor in the Natural Disaster Program for the Queensland Government, Rebecca oversees a substantial portfolio of projects. In this role, she collaborates with a team of engineers to assess submissions from districts before applying for funding. The Natural Disaster Program, under her guidance, achieved a remarkable milestone in the 2021/2022 event year, delivering $650 million in eligible funding to districts across Queensland. Rebecca's expertise and leadership contribute significantly to the effective allocation of resources for disaster response and recovery efforts.

Rebecca's career is distinguished by her involvement in headline projects. Her work in overseeing funding submissions and managing a team of engineers reflects her commitment to ensuring efficient and strategic disaster response measures in Queensland. Her dedication to delivering tangible outcomes in disaster recovery is a testament to her leadership and technical acumen.

Reece Houston, is a skilled Consultant with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.

Reece has accumulated valuable experience as a technical advisor within the state government's Natural Disaster Recovery team. His contributions to the team showcase his dedication to disaster recovery and resilience, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of the complexities involved in managing infrastructure projects during and after natural disasters.

He has provided evidence-based advice and recommendations on economic policies to the highest levels of Governments.

Rhys has more than 15 years of experience in project management and infrastructure advisory both within consultancy and government environments. He has been fortunate over his career to build an extensive portfolio of project experience across transport, education, health, property, and development sectors as well as the Federal Government leading projects from planning all the way through to delivery phases of major infrastructure projects.

Rhys’s roles have covered the various part of the project life cycle which has resulted in experience in leading feasibility studies, business case development, project management, design management, client representation, procurement, and coordination of large multi-discipline teams. He also has strong business and operation skills gained through his executive leadership and managerial roles in the public and private sectors. His experience was gained through international roles covering the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia.

Richard has over 28 years' of experience in providing strategic consulting, commercial, procurement and technical management services for transport, power and other infrastructure projects globally. Richard has extensive experience in the project definition, feasibility, investment decision, concept design, funding approval, delivery readiness and transaction phases of high value, high risk infrastructure projects. He has provided advice and consultancy services on projects for metro systems, light rail systems, heavy rail infrastructure, rolling stock, operational systems and infrastructure in the power and energy sectors.

Richard is a Mechanical Engineer with 17 years’ experience in planning and constructability analysis, procurement, project management and contract administration on multi-discipline projects in the transport, water, resources, oil and gas sectors.

Richard has a proven track record in managing diverse teams as well as the successful coordination of teams to achieve project deadlines.  Most recently, Richard assisted the Transport Project Division of Transport for NSW as procurement manager for the Power Supply Upgrade Program.

Prior to this, Richard was a member of the Contract Management Team on Sydney Water’s Replacement Flows Project, responsible for facilitating the works of a D&C contractor within a new recycled water plant and three sewerage treatment plants.

Richard has practical planning experience working on projects as lead scheduler, where he assisted in the development of project constructability analysis and resource forecasting.

Outside of work, Richard is often on Bondi beach with his family, or planning his next trip to support Australia’s cricketers.

Richard is a recent graduate from the University of New South Wales with a degree in Civil Engineering (Honours) with Commerce (Finance). Throughout his studies, Richard has proactively engaged in both the engineering and finance disciplines, while also participating in various student societies and community initiatives. Prior to being at ConnellGriffin, Richard has gained experience in the construction sector, where he successfully executed delivery responsibilities for Sydney Metro.

Richard is a Chartered Civil Engineer and brings 25 years’ experience to the infrastructure sector - he is one of Australia’s most experienced transaction and commercial advisors, who’s expertise spans a variety of sectors including transport, energy, water and social infrastructure. He has a reputation as a having a “do what it takes” attitude, as well as possessing a high level of commercial and practical acumen.

Richard has significant project development and delivery leadership experience through his involvement on large project and programs of work in Europe and Australia. Richard has delivered a variety of services including strategic and commercial advice to both private and government clients on projects from the inception and planning phase, through to construction and operation. In the last decade, Richard has provided advisory services on some of Australia’s most high-profile infrastructure projects.

Prior to arriving in Australia, Richard was the lead Project Manager on the delivery of a $3 billion infrastructure investment program of works in the UK, where he was responsible for the development, procurement, construction and commissioning of several large brownfield complex infrastructure projects. His achievements on this program of works resulted in him finishing runner-up in the United Kingdom’s Association for Project Management’s ‘Young Project Manager of the Year’ award.

Outside work, Richard is a keen cook and enjoys eating out with family and friends. At the weekend, he spends time with his family, playing football and ubering his kids to their various sporting and social activities.

Rob has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry operating around the world in locations such as Hong Kong, Canada, the UK, Australia and in the Middle East. During this time Rob has worked on a variety of projects ranging from Dubai theme parks to Hong Kong’s Mass Transit Railway, culminating in his most recent role as Head of Contract Solutions in the Middle East for a global design, engineering and management consulting firm.

Rob has extensive commercial experience across varied market sectors and is able to advise in areas such as claims management as well as litigation and arbitration support, commercial management, contract administration, risk management, project/programme management, procurement strategy, final account negotiations, business leadership and business management.

Roya Khodabandehloo is a Senior Consultant with a vast professional background.

Roya holds a Bachelor of Civil & Environmental Engineering and is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration. She is also recognised as a Chartered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering and Project Management by Engineers Australia. As a Constructionarium Australia Board Member, Roya actively contributes her expertise to the board, bringing insights and leadership to the organisation. This position reflects her commitment to governance and strategic decision making within the sector.

Roya's past experiences highlight her ability to lead and innovate in complex engineering projects. Notably, she played a crucial role in developing an accelerated transaction process to support the CopperString 2032 Project for Powerlink QLD. Her responsibilities included coordinating workstream leads to develop technical specifications, contractual documentation and overseeing pre-award tendering activities. Roya's leadership is further emphasised through her role as the chair of weekly workstream lead management meetings, ensuring effective collaboration and progress tracking.

In her current role as a Senior Consultant, Roya brings a diverse skill set, including project and design management, engineering technical advice, and technical and strategic reporting. Her expertise also extends to strategic reporting, showcasing her ability to provide comprehensive insights for decision making at both technical and executive levels.

Sam Altermann is an experienced Senior Consultant with diverse project experience and exceptional project delivery. Sam holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and is a certified Traffic Management Designer (TMD). Over the course of his career, he has seamlessly transitioned between roles as a contractor and working on behalf of clients, and has gained valuable experience across various fields. Sam specialises in the delivery and construction of infrastructure projects. His logical thinking and adept problem-solving skills are pivotal in ensuring that desired outcomes are consistently met.

In his role as a consultant, Sam led the $40M Seqwater – Mt Crosby Bridge Project, a bridge construction in a high-risk environmental and heritage-listed zone. Additionally, he played a key role in the TMR – Natural Disaster Program (NDP), assisting TMR districts in securing over $400M in rehabilitation and betterment funding.

Prior employment led Sam to take part in the delivery of the Road Asset Maintenance Contract (RAMC) for Transport and Main Roads (TMR) within the South Coast region. Works included overseeing capital works, routine maintenance, and ad hoc safety projects. In his contractor role with RPQ, Sam was involved in a diverse range of Minor Infrastructure Contracts (MIC) for TMR, RMS, local councils and on major projects. This showcased his versatility in project management and execution.

Sam is a Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial experience gained in the United Kingdom and brings over 5 years of commercial experience working in London and Manchester, UK. He currently holds a Master’s Degree in Quantity Surveying. Prior to joining Connell Griffin, Sam worked for over 4 years as a Quantity Surveyor for a major civils Contractor where he undertook the procurement and commercial management and dispute resolution for projects from inception to handover.

Sam brings commercial expertise in procurement, commercial management, claims and dispute resolution from inception to project handover within the demolition, civil and infrastructure sectors. Having worked on high profile projects in Contracting, Sam uses his experience to effectively procure packages, manage and control building costs, draft and manage claims that arise in line with the relevant contracts and identify areas of risk that may lead to issues within projects. He has worked for both private and public clients in a collaborative manner and ensures that the most economically viable solutions to project issues are made whilst maintaining good relations for all parties.

Samuel is an experienced Contract Manager and Lawyer with extensive experience across the areas of commercial advisory, contract negotiation, development and management, claims and dispute resolution, and all facets of project delivery.

Samuel brings a unique skillset having been previously engaged in both a legal and commercial advisory capacity on various large-scale projects in rail, defence, renewables, maritime and construction sectors.

Prior to joining ConnellGriffin, Samuel acted as the Contract Manager (Oceania region) for one of the largest international cargo-handling organisations, and prior to this, was engaged as a Commercial Consultant and Lawyer.

Samuel is a Civil Engineer with master’s degrees in both Engineering and Business Administration. Sarah has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, evolving from quantity surveying to overall project management of building projects in Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, UAE and USA.  His breath of experiences spans the public and private sectors, and includes complex infrastructure projects such as concrete dams and bridges, brownfields road and rail projects, major earthworks programs, utility installations, and land development projects. Scott is a qualified Civil Engineer with a collaborative and pragmatic approach. He has strengths in project development and planning, procurement and transaction management, options analysis and value engineering, and delivery strategy and management.

Scott leads ConnellGriffin’s pursuits in the Canberra region, whilst also assisting on assignments in other states. Outside of work, Scott enjoys mountain biking and working on his small farm. 

Sean is a commercial specialist with over 17 years experience in quantity surveying and commercial management, working on a range of construction projects varying from freight, rail, utility & energy services, infrastructure works, high rise construction, and tunnelling projects.

Sean has worked in both the private and public sector with experience on projects up to $3 billion in value utilising various forms of contract.  Sean also has broad experience in procurement and tendering, dispute resolution, expert report writing, claim management, contract production and negotiation.

Sean is chartered professional in both quantity surveying and construction management and sits on the panel of assessors in Australia evaluating candidates looking to become professionally qualified members of the RICS in the quantity surveying and construction provision.

Sean is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Chartered Institute of Building, a Professional Member of the Resolution Institute (Australia) and an RICS Accredited (Evaluative) Mediator.

Shruthi is a driven and experienced Civil Engineer with a keen interest in project management and commercial advisory. Her background includes a Masters in Project Management, and she has been working as a commercial advisor for clients such as Sydney Metro.

Simon has 18 years of professional experience both in Australia and overseas, including 8 years in operation management and 10 years of project management with asset owners, utilities and local councils.

With a background in Chemical Engineering and water resources management, he has extensive technical skills in water and wastewater treatment and management combined with skills and experience in program, project and team management for capital infrastructure. Simon was involved in various capital projects within the QLD urban and regional water sector from planning to delivery.

His previous operation management roles and his experience working in remote locations overseas, give him a pragmatic and “down to earth” approach in delivering projects, always considering assets operability and maintainability to meet the end user needs.

Siva has an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (Sydney), a Bachelors in Electrical & Electronic Engineering(Hons 1) from the University of Adelaide and is also a chartered engineer.  Siva has provided transaction advisory services on key infrastructure projects including Central West Orana (CWO) Renewable Energy Zone, Sydney Metro, Warringah Freeway Upgrade, Sydney Light Rail, Transport Access Program and Glenfield Junction Alliance.

Siyao is a project management graduate who obtained a bachelor’s degree in Project Management (Construction) from the University of Sydney and has adequate experience managing and delivering various projects. Her project experiences include analysing the benefits and improvements of Public and Private Partnerships in the infrastructure industry, helping AIPM deliver a product that helps tailor the current Project Management learning environment to fit the rapid development of technology etc. As a project management graduate, Siyao is ready to utilise her skills and knowledge in the project management profession, which she has attained from her past experiences in managing projects to pursue her career in commercial and contractual advisory.

With over 16 years’ experience in Australia and the UK, Stuart is an experienced consultant, proficient in the commercial management of complex transport infrastructure projects. 

Stuart is a professional Quantity Surveyor, having gained an MSc in Quantity Surveying in the UK.  He has since gone on to specialise in transport infrastructure, where he has led high functioning commercial teams throughout the full life cycle of projects.

Wesley is a Civil Engineer with 20 years’ experience in the delivery and management of large engineering and construction projects in Australia and overseas.

He has successfully held key roles as a client’s representative, contractor and technical advisor, and has experience in delivering projects from inception through to construction, commissioning and handover.  Wesley brings his strong contract and delivery, transaction management and technical management experience from his recent roles on Sydney Metro Northwest, NorthConnex, WestConnex and South West Rail Link.

His contract and commercial management experience is reinforced by a Masters in Construction Law recently completed at The University of Melbourne.

He specialises in early-stage project development and leadership, developing infrastructure business cases, and implementing collaborative funding and delivery models. His most recent experience includes developing the business case for the redevelopment of London Euston station, supporting several UK water companies to develop innovative funding and delivery models for multi-billion GBP water projects, and helping National Grid develop the delivery strategy for their largest ever electricity transmission construction programme. 

As an accredited UK HM Treasury Better Business Cases™ trainer, Will has also supported public sector project professionals in business capability development.

Zaine is an infrastructure advisor experienced in project management, strategic and advisory roles across all stages of the asset and infrastructure lifecycle. His multifaceted experience spans various industries and sectors, including noteworthy contributions to public transport and road projects, and the arts. 

Zaine’s background as an engineer means he is analytical, pragmatic and solution oriented, which is combined with a strong commercial acumen. His leadership style is underpinned by inclusivity and collaboration, focussing on shared success and empowering others to develop and grow their careers.

Zoë’s experience includes strategy development, long term capital planning and the development of more detailed options identification and selection processes, along with commercial advisory experience covering market engagement, service delivery model design, commercial bid evaluation and the development of procurement strategies and business cases. 

Zoë is known for driving a high level of quality and stakeholder satisfaction across all her projects, leveraging strong communication skills and an ability to synthesise complex ideas into digestible insights.
