Due to open in 2024, the 30 km metro rail line will begin at the end of Sydney Metro Northwest at Chatswood, travel under Sydney Harbour, through new CBD stations and then southwest to Bankstown. The new line will be able to run a metro train every two minutes each way through Sydney’s centre.
Under the greenfield packages, Sydney Metro requires the delivery of four Integrated Station Developments (ISDs) at Martin Place, Pitt Street, Victoria Cross and Waterloo and two stand alone stations at Crows Nest and Barangaroo.
